Company History Walling Data began in 1994 in the basement of Luke Wallings parents' home where he started the business, with no start up funding, supplying technology repair and implementation services, as well as sales such as white box computer systems. All products were delivered and setup with all services provided onsite at no additional charge. From the very beginning, the business was built around value-adds that our competition did not or simply could not match. Today, 14 years later, Walling Data represents a group of divisions that offer technology distribution and support services to a base of over 50,000 end user and reseller customers throughout North America, traditional break/fix repair services from our local office locations in Catawba and Iredell Counties in North Carolina, as well as Virtual IT department outsourcing via our GuaranteedIT managed services program. All still under the same ownership that started it way back when, in a small basement, with no investor funding and no business partners. We are the volume leader and exclusive outlet for Unlimited US based support for the popular security software product line by AVG Technologies, AVG Internet Security, as well as the nation's first value-added distributor of the innovative secure web gateway product line from Cymphonix. This focus continues to shape our product line, in conjunction with our core values and absolute requirement that we actually know, use, and love the same products (and the companies that produce them) we offer to our customers. Walling Data is recognized for its attention to customer service and support. Since the very beginning extreme customer service and value added support has been how we attract and retain our customers. This has held true with our national efforts as well, where all products distributed nationally receive unlimited toll free US based support, from our offices in North Carolina at no additional charge. |
